An American emblem, the Bison, thrives in the most extreme conditions. The famously soft hide moves with you across forests and plains, giving you increased agility and comfort wherever you roam.
The O.T. boot is possibly our most versatile boot design to date. O.T. stands for “Over-Time” meaning this hybrid work boot is not just meant for the "clock-in-and-out" days, but for the long hours, varied conditions, and last-minute hiking trips. The dual sport design offers an exceptional balance of agility, comfort, and support, making them the perfect choice for city or mountain terrain.
The O.T. is lighter and more flexible than our Superduty but still tough as nails. Born in the heart of the northwest, sourced and handmade entirely in America, these all-purpose boots keep you moving anywhere, anytime.
Each set of O.T. boots is meticulously handcrafted in our Spokane, WA facility using only the highest-grade American bison leather, fire ready materials, Vibram 132 Honey soles, and stitchdown construction. This attention to detail means your JK work boots are built to keep you comfortable and safe around the clock no matter what the situation.
We are not intimidated when the road ends. We will build our own.
Some Bison boots use fire-rated materials, but Bison is not recommended for fire use. Check out our Fire Collection instead.

Great looking boots, but even more comfortable. Live in the PNW and it’s been a rainy winter so far. These boots are tough and hard working. The soles are great for rain, mush, and even slippery asphalt.
I’ve bought other pairs of boots just about every year, and don’t really wear them much because of comfort and fit.
Break in periods bruise my shin, or too tight on the foot.
JK’s are everything they say they are. Well built well constructed and super easy to break in.
I grew up in the family business where my father imported, fine quality leather goods from Florence Italy, and the leather in these boots is so tough and so giving they are incredible. I have the buffalo skin leather and would only buy these again.
Love these. Soft as ****. The toe of the boot is flexible. I hunt in them. With the honey sole I am like a cat climbing up and down S$&@ terrain. I absolutely adore these boots and I will never get rid of them.
These are my first ever pair of handmade boots. I don't think I'll ever buy another pair of "machine made" boots again in my life. These are incredibly well built. I was super nervous when I first ordered because they felt like they weren't wide enough. My pinky toes on both sides were going through it!!! But I decided to keep them since they weren't causing any blisters and now they fit and feel like a dream! I will go one full size up on the width on my next purchase. Which there will be another purchase no doubt. Love the bison leather. It's super thick and flexible and feels like it's going to last a lifetime. The quality control on these were perfect. Both boots were the same height and I could not find any defects what so ever. The arch support is SUPER nice! It makes a difference. I was expecting perfection for some shoes that are $700+ and these absolutely delivered that. Blew my expectations out of the water actually. Don't hesitate to pull the trigger on these bad boys. Your feet will thank you!
Just got my first pair of JK's and I'm pretty happy so far! I followed sizing instructions and measured wearing wool socks, and it was spot on. My Brannock size was a 12.5 and I measured 11" around the foot and a 11.5 EEE was right on. If anything, I could go up one step in width if I were only wearing them with heavy wool socks, but as it stands, these should break in nicely.
Im blown away by the color on these boots. At first glance they may seem brown, but the crimson hues are beautiful, and the texture of the bison is great. They feel nice and stable under foot.
I wore them for a few hours around the house before deciding to keep them, My first outing was about a two mile hike out into the woods here in New England. They did not disappoint. So far I'm very happy with these boots.
I am lumping my review of 2 items into 1 review since I offered them together, my Bison boots are great, however, as they state “trust the process” when I put them on for the first time they were somewhat painful but I knew to expect that from new boots where nothing has been broken in and formed yet. I oiled them with Neatsfoot oil the very night of my first wearing and the next day was a completely different fit, they have now started to form and take shape very nicely. The Bison insoles I ordered with my boots were disappointing to say the least, while my boots fit nicely and snug, the insoles somehow managed to move and “crawl up the walls” and severely deform ? I took them out after only 2 weeks and they are worthless now as they took on their own shape that I don’t think can be corrected?
