I wear Superduty's as my only footwear and bought these for weekends and walking the dogs. Nice build and easy break in. These will be with me a long time.

I have horrible flat feet that have given me a tremendous amount of pain over the course of my life. I am a supermarket refrigeration mechanic so I spend anywhere from 40hrs to 80+hrs a week on my feet. I have tried every brand of mass-produced boots in existence, everything from off the shelf orthotics to custom. Nothing gave me the long-lasting comfort I was looking for until I finally pulled the trigger on some high quality handmade boots made right here in America. Since breaking in my new JK Forefronts, I am walking without a limp for the first time in 2 years. I am so happy with them, I just ordered a second pair in safety toe. I would also like to mention that JK customer service is outstanding! The break-in period is not that bad either. Prior to break-in, I had a few concerns with fitment - the general support team responded quickly and put my mind at ease.

There’s a reason these forefronts are 1 of JK’s best seller’s. They’re amazing, so comfortable, so sturdy, and so robust. I’ve been wearing these for about 2 months now steady in an automotive shop tbh I can’t even tell I wear these to work if it weren’t for the stains on that white Christy sole. Yes I did just clean them up but the leather is amazing on these. I use my left boot toe to lift the pedal of our tire change machine daily and there’s literally not even a scratch on them. I would not hesitate again to buy these even though I can tell these are going to last a long time with re-soles. The updated 360 stitch down is definitely water resistant, I’ve stepped in puddles with these and water never seeped inside. I never think about my feet hurting anymore after 10+ hours a day on concrete, my knees no longer ache and my lower back feels great since it’s not always compensating for no arch support. I would not have believed the difference good footwear could make unless I experienced it myself. I’m definitely a believer now. Thanks JK, these Forefronts are amazing!

My first PNW boots, already love them. Thanks to JK for being the only PNW boot company that stocks my size by default (4.5 JK/5.0 other PNW/5.5 Brannock).
Full disclosure that I am not a tradesman (well, tradeswoman). I just like sturdy, US- and European-made goods, and especially footwear and clothing. Still, these forefronts are outstanding, even as a seasoned connoisseur of high-quality boots. I use these for daily wear, mostly on pavement or indoors, but also for some short hikes. They don't feel heavy, nor do they induce fatigue, even after many hours (40-60 per week). My arches are pretty flat, and yet my forefronts feel great. Ever since the insoles broke in (about 5-7 days of wear), I've had 0 arch pain, which was an issue in previous boots I've owned.
I was hesitant about how an 8-9 oz leather would feel on my foot, but I've been pleasantly surprised. The leather, which is comfortably thick, gets more supple with time, without compromising on ankle support or overall protectiveness. It has nice pull-up quality and takes scuffs gracefully, and the redwood color shows off different undertones under various lighting conditions (photos attached).
I lace my boots up aggressively, and often re-adjust throughout the day. I can say with certainty that the brass eyelets and hooks are built to take a beating. The metal hooks on other "high-end" boots (Lowa, most namely) have snapped off/in half from how much pressure I apply when lacing, but I've probably treated my…
