    Best boots I’ve ever owned

I’ve only owned these boots for about two months but I love them and personally think they are the greatest quality boot I have ever put on my feet, when you hold them and try them on you know right away they mean business and they are a true work of art made in the USA.

    Best boots I've owned

As a field mechanic i spend extensive amounts of time on my feet in all weather conditions. Rain, snow, mud, and extensive heat. Ive owned other PNW boots and out of all the makers these are the ones that I love and trust to keep my feet dry, comfortable, and at a good temperature in any weather condition. 8 months and going strong on these, I was concerned about the softer sole wearing out faster but I have found that I am able to stand more securely on machines, large tires on equipment, and even slick rocks with more confidence. It feels like the sole contours to the work surface in a much better way than the traditional hard black vibrant soles. I will recommend these boots to anyone who asks. Also if there's a way that its possible ALWAYS BUY AMERICAN MADE.

    Fathers day - UK Cobbler.

My father works here in the UK at Timpsons as a cobbler, and about a year or two ago, a gentlemen brought him in a pair of JK Boots that required some work.

My father never seen a pair of PNW boots prior to receiving them, so he took them off the gentlemen to do work on them.

My fathers quote "They were the toughest boots I've ever worked on, and I couldn't get over the extent of build quality"

Two years later he would still bring it up at the dinner table, and I caught him watching videos on how to build/rebuild them, so I decided to bite the bullet and get my father his first pair.

He's absolutely over the moon with them, though he was nearly ready to kill me for the money I spent, he's grateful and appreciative nonetheless and absolutely loves them.

I've posted a picture of him wearing them below.

Fantastic customer service, and amazing quality/durability.

    Ruined for any other footwear!

There is nothing I don’t love about these boots! I normally go through a couple pair of boots a year at work, but these are truly built to last. They break in so nicely, form to your feet, and are super tough. I can’t ask for much more! These caused me to buy a couple different models of JKs to have a pair for every job. I can’t imagine ever buying a different brand of boots. They are so comfortable, and have actually helped with the pain I have from multiple knee surgeries. Like I said ruined… there is no reason to wear any other footwear.

    Almost Perfect

I now own four pairs of JK boots. Three pair are variants of the Superduty/Fire Inlander platform. The 8.5 D size fits my feet perfectly with plenty of toe room and no heel slip. (I have pretty narrow ankles and typically wear US size 9.5 or 9 if half sizes aren't available.) I love the high heel on rough, steep terrain. (I'm quite fond of the raised heel on flat ground too!) My Bison Superduty boots are hands down the most comfortable and beautiful of the three pair, requiring no break-in whatsoever and looking incredibly nice right out of the box. Do be aware that any coloring on the leather midsoles is superficial and will easily rub off, especially if you wear your boots in cold, wet weather. If you care about that sort of thing, then you'll have to baby your boots or apply some colored polish when it disappears. You might also notice something that looks like salt crystals that can be very white in color forming on the midsole leather. I'm sure this has no impact whatsoever on how the boot functions, but it can be alarming if you have fallen in love with their out-of-the-box appearance. Also, it's fairly easy to scratch or cut the Bison leather, so be VERY careful when walking if you wear your Bison boots with crampons like I did. (See below.) I assume the roughout leather really is quite a bit more abrasion resistant, especially in cow hide.

Over the past Memorial Day weekend I decided to use my Bison boots along with my first pair of crampons and my first ice axe on a…
