Not sure which JK boots fit your work? In the video below, we break down the real differences between the Superduty, O.T. and Forefront, so you can pick the right boot for your job, terrain and hours on your feet.
The short version:
- Superduty / Fire Inlander: built for extreme conditions. The heavy-duty, overbuilt boot that built the JK name: 10" height, thick full-grain leather and a heavy-duty outsole. Made for wildland firefighting, oil fields, logging and industrial trades: long hours on uneven terrain, heat, and heavy labor.
- O.T.: the all-round daily driver. Lighter and more flexible than the Superduty, with a lower heel and arch for a more natural feel. Tough enough for the job site, comfortable enough to wear morning to night if your day mixes walking, driving and moving between sites.
- Forefront: lightweight comfort for hard surfaces. The tradesman’s boot: 6" height, a cushioned wedge sole and minimal break-in. Popular with electricians, HVAC techs, carpenters and shop workers who stand on concrete all day, and comfortable enough for everyday wear.
Many customers end up with two pairs, like a Superduty for heavy work and an O.T. for everyday use. Just start with what your work demands most.
