Ive been in a mission to find boots from a company that i can reliably find that had boots that were quality and that lasted. Ive tried all of the alot of the direct competitors to jkboots and none of them come close to the comfort, quality, durability, style, and wearability of jk. I wasnt a believer before however now after wearing my jk boots on everything from 3” rip rap to concrete, ladders and hooks climbing, and putting miles on in the back country hunting, i will flat out never buy a different company’s boots. I'll start by saying I am very picky with boots. I've had many name brand but less expensive boots and very few fit as good right out of the box. The bison leather is phenomenal, less than a week break in and no hot spots or discomfort in that time either. Do yourself a favor and spend the money on a good pair of rebuildable boots instead of $200-$280 every year on throw aways. My occupation is a little of everything from farming, logging, paving and mechanics. The ot's seem to be the do it all boot aside from maybe logging I'd go for the superduty for extra support.

Whenever I buy a new pair of boots, I buy them to be first used as every day boots, church, boots, going out boots. When they start getting worn down to the point where they don’t look good enough for regular wear, that’s when I start using them for work. These are beautiful boots, and at my age, if I don’t have the right shoe or boot on my hip and back start giving me problems. The second I slipped these on any hip or back pain goes away immediately!
