    Very pleased

    I've had my pair of 300s for about 3 weeks now. After getting my OTs, I liked them well enough that I decided I also wanted a pair of 300s to be more of a shoe replacement. Their lighter construction and the white sole lends them well to filling in for my non-work boot duties. Mostly I wear them after hours and on weekends.

    This pair of shoes has taken longer to break in than the Bison OT's which is no surprise, and the wedge sole does supply more arch support than the lug sole on the OTs which seemed to settle more quickly into place. The weight difference is very noteworthy compared to the 8" height OTs.

    Their customer support was very patient with me as I played 20 questions over the phone to help me find the closest solution to what I wanted. I did in a follow up phone call request that a pair of leather laces be added to my order which did not arrive, but I also was not charged for them - after the numerous back and forth phone calls that day discussing the boots, it was an easy thing to forget so I give a pass for that. I wore them with the included synthetic laces for a few days but did end up ordering a set of leather laces and switching which was a worthwhile upgrade. I wish that it were an option to get them with leather laces out of the box.

    Let it be noted, neither the OTs or the 300s included boot oil. Several reviewers online stated that JK includes boot oil with a new boot purchase, but when questioned I was told that they stopped doing that to try and keep…

    Simply the best

    Took longer to ship than expected. But these are also the best boots I've ever owned. Very quick break-in period. I work as an arborist and walk through a lot of tree debris/brush. These boots are lighter and softer than most leather boots I've owned, but somehow are still very durable. I've only had these for about a month now. I hope they last a long time!

    I have been doing heavy trail work in these with the forest service and they are great. I have had ****** and ***** and honestly 6 inch is just great and I see no real reason to go for a taller boot for basic outdoors use other than fire. I always find myself throwing these on in the morning over my other and they are half the price. Sure they have a rubber midsole and the leather is thinner, but those things contribute to the how lightweight the boot is. I don't see any cutbacks on this boot and it's 100% worth the money. I also would recommend false tongues as they are just an overall benefit. Overall can't get a better boot for around 400.

    Great boots

    For the price I think this boot is amazing! The quality of the leather is insane! I absolutely recommend anyone buying a pair. And the staff is incredible! There was a wrinkle in the leather of 1 of my boots and they offered a discount or a whole new pair made. They were amazing

    Where Quality and Purchasing Power come together

    Having worn these boots nearly every day since getting them, their enjoyment has only gotten better. The wax coating from factory has mostly scuffed off, but it'll patina very nicely I feel. The heel, sides, and toe have all darkened from use already. If there's anything to note it's that the tongue is real floppy! When it's in my power I'm definitely investing in Forefronts or the O.T. Pro!
