Just arrive and they’re built really well.

These arrived, and I have to say I was skeptical. They looked huge, like they wouldn’t fit. I put them on without laces or the false tongue, and I still didn’t think they fit. I looked at the paper's instructions on fit and feel. I checked off the blocks individually, and they felt exactly as described in the instructions, but I was still skeptical. So I laced them up, and low and behold, these boots fit like a glove. Tap your heel on the ground to get snug, then lace up like you're trying to hold down King Kong.

Be careful when hitting your heel on the ground. It will leave marks on vinyl floors, but they rub off.

I work for a water District in South Florida, and I'm outside all day, walking and using equipment. Hydraulic, diesel, gas, chemicals, sun, and the elements are all I'm exposed to all day. Let's see how long they last! I did a lot of research on these boots, and I'm sure they will hold up.

Formidable firefighting boots for a demanding job.

I’ve been a JK wearer since 2017. The boots are amazing and comfortable. After years of wearing the competition Jk’s were a godsend in comfort, styling, and durability. My most recent custom built inlanders are everything I expect in JK craftsmanship.

These boots are no joke. They are the most tough and rugged boots I’ve ever had on! I could recommend them more. Just make sure you measure your foot correctly before ordering!

    Awesome boots but…

Maybe im being a little bit dramatic when I say this but I’ve come to notice clear issues with stitching such as warped lines and thread not going all the way into the sole. I don’t believe this will have much effect overall but I think it’s fair to expect a bit more especially since we all work hard to be able to afford your boots.

I do still plan to come back and get more pairs as everything else is **** perfect I just hope my next purchase will be a bit more appealing.

    Sturdy boot, tough sizing

I work in forestry and fire, and typically wear a women's 5, so it's difficult to find wildland boots in my size. Called JK initially and they suggested a stock men's 3.5 so I gave these boots a go. I ended up wearing them with an added insole and a heel lock which helped immensely (I still carry duct tape to wrap my occasional blisters). wish I could say that the break-in process was painless, but it did take a few months to feel like they molded to my feet.

Considering that I didn't expect these boots to fit at ALL, they save my tuchus on slippery steep slopes in the winter, and have held up really well through mop-up operations and consistent heavy wear. I'll be searching for a second pair of boots so I can send these puppies in to get resoled after another winter.

Sadly I don't see that JK offers my size anymore so I'll be searching for another company that can be more accommodating, but psyched that these will last me a few more years!
