JK Owners Compare Superduty, O.T., Forefront, and 300 In Their Own Words

He ordered custom Superdutys, tried on Forefronts while he waited, and ended up walking out with both — plus a pair of O.T.s the very next day.

"I've had two back surgeries in the last eight years... I thought my redwings were as good as it gets. I started out doing research on JK boots after seeing an ad. I finally saved up some money for some custom superdutys. I went back to the store and made my order. While I waited I tried on some custom forefronts that were on hand. I ended up taking those home too. The next day the shadow bison OT was released and I ordered those and had them a few days later. And once I received my custom superdutys I don't want to take them off! I'm trying to justify buying different pairs for different purposes. But these boots do it all! The best part is my back feels better. Customer for life here!"

The Superduty's fit runs noticeably tighter than the O.T.'s, and he'd rather deal with a longer break-in for the security of it.

"Stiff break in but these are great! Expect a tighter fit than the OT or other boots. Your foot WILL NOT slide around in these. I can see this giving you a very low chance of blisters. They do need a hot minute to break in. A few weeks but they are oh so sweet when you do. I love them dearly though and the few working days around the farm they have been great."

He bought a custom Forefront, and picked up a Bison O.T. while he waited for it to be built. Now that he has the Forefront he can't pick a favorite between the two.

"I recently bought the custom 8" forefront, while waiting for those to be built, I also bought the bison OT. And words can't explain how happy I am with both boots. I'm just blown away on the craftsmanship and overall beauty of these. They were just a little bit big, so I put their insoles in and they're just perfect. Literally the most comfortable footwear I've ever owned. Thought it'd be a rough break in period. But it's really not. Highly recommend JK!!!!! THANK YOU."

His O.T. only needed a few days to fully settle in, but long enough that he's already decided the Forefront is next.

"We'll-made boots and the bison leather is amazing! A little tight on my first try so I put a boot shoe tree in it and applied the Obenauf oil included in the package and after a couple of days, I wore it for a couple of hours for break in and although a little tight around the sides it starts to feel just fine. After a few more days, it now fits perfectly and very happy with the purchase. Outstanding boots and excellent customer service. My next purchase will be a Forefront Bison 6"."

Three weeks into his O.T.s, he was comfortable enough to order a Superduty next.

"I've been through a lot of boots in my life/career and I've never been this happy with a pair of boots. My initial thought was to list all the other brands I've tried but I don't want to badmouth any other American made company that makes good boots. I bought a pair of OT's a month ago and I haven't put on any other brands because these are so comfortable. After my third week of wearing these OT's I ordered a pair of Superduty's."

His Forefront fit perfectly straight from an in-store sizing, and he's already planning an O.T. Pro for whatever comes next.

"I am lucky enough to live near a store (thanks Nick). I was sized and was able to try on some boots. Ordered from the store with confidence the correct boot. The boots arrived on time and everything fit perfectly. Now the journey begins and can't wait to have them broken in. I'm a fan for life, will be ordering a pair of O.T. Pros soon."

Between his O.T. and his 300X, the O.T.'s sole is the one that actually helped his plantar fasciitis.

"This boot helped with my plantar fasciitis almost immediately. These boots are incredibly constructed and look great too. I have a pair of JK 300X but like these softer soles better. I'll be a customer for life!"

Owning both the 300 and the O.T. side by side, he's still deciding what he prefers.

"I really like them, too soon to tell which I prefer 300's or OT's, they're both awesome, probably leaning towards OT's. Having both is good so that I can go from one to another depending on what I'm doing that day!"

His Forefront was comfortable enough that he added an O.T. for outdoor use and found the O.T.'s fit noticeably snugger.

"Love these boots. Got a pair of Forefront and they were so comfortable had to get a pair of OT for the outdoors. OT are snugging tighter than the Forefront which is perfect. Can't say enough about them!"

Ordered both Forefront and Superduty and has a 300 already on the way.

"I love my forefront, easy to break in, almost no break in time, and my super duty was almost the same, can't wait for my 300 to get here. Thank you."
