"I got full roughout custom forefront boots and have put 52 hours a week on them for almost 6 months. I work as a shipfitter building navy ships in Maine. I Spend lots of time balancing on steel beams, oxy fuel burning, plasma cutting, and welding. Everything is sharp, hard, hot, or abrasive. Aside from soles slowly wearing (normal) other signs of wear are minimal (with proper care). I would be getting another pair of boots already, but these are not even close to wearing out. Easily most comfortable and toughest pair of boots I've ever owned. Can't say enough."

5. “Perfect tool for the job.“
"As a commercial driver pumping air breaks these are as close to perfect as I’ve ever found. Heel is completely locked in place with just enough arch support that allows for a natural heel-toe movement. Any work I do outside the cab is zero trouble. As these are built PNW tough. Leather is thick, stitching is iron clad. Break in is essentially zero. Although if you are coming from a mass made high top sneaker type boot your in for a learning curve. Learn the curve and in a few weeks you won’t return to the land of BS disposable footwear. I am a 12 D in a sneaker and ordered a 11E. Fit like a glove. Wool socks of course, good quality. These are now a non negotiable part of my daily EDC. Healthy feet equal healthy paychecks. Trust me on that one. I’ll be back for a few more pairs. Probably get one in Bison for my days off. I am lucky to have found JK Boots. As I’m 50 and have worn my fair share of throw away garbage. Not anymore. Wish I would have bought these 20 years ago. "I’m currently wearing these boots at work. Best decision in footwear I’ve made in decades. Take the time and break them in slowly and it’ll feel like your favorite baseball glove. Except on your foot of course. I wouldn’t recommend a wearing a baseball gloves on your feet. But i’d definitely recommend these for your feet. Anyway, these literally mold around your feet as they break in and last for years instead of months. I’ll never go back to those glued together, heavily padded, orthopedic insert needing boots ever again. P.S. if you work on cement all day, get these wedge soles. Your feet and joints will thank you"
