Finally, a PNW boot that fits.
I have worn all of the PNW brands, including Danner. I have always ended up selling on Ebay due to them not fitting after bread in. These O.T.s are amazing, I was skeptical at first, but followed the fitting process. They are spot on width wise. I did have to return my first pair and go another half size down.
The Bison is incredible and required a minimum of break in. I will be buying more.

Incredible build quality with a design flaw
These boots absolutely carry the best in class build quality out of likely any boot on the planet. However, there is one possibly fatal design choice that makes them a hard to get along with. The sizing is wonky for certain. As long as you can sort your way through JK's needlessly odd sizing you will be good there. There is a rather serious flaw right under the tongue. There is a thick piece of leather that absolutely chews up the top of your foot. I have been wearing them for 2 weeks now and it does not seem to be getting any better. At the end of everyday there is a painful mark that they leave. You would think the spot where your foot is most sensitive would be the most carefully designed. It is not at all smooth at this spot and then oddly comes to a hump/point making this issue even worse. Even when putting the boot on you can feel this thing push into and srape along the top of your foot while they slide on. This issue has nothing at all to do with build quality but design itself. I will continue to try and wear them in but this leather lump on the top of the foot may be the straw that breaks this camels back and ends up putting these boots under the bed.

Wild land fire
I love my OT pros for Wildland firefighting had them for a little more than a month and been on over a dozen fires holding up great very comfortable. Great ankle support fires have been from field fires to in the mountains. Have no issues with them. Break-in was easy holding up very well. I recommend these for this kind of line of work

Fits like a glove
It's hard to describe exactly how good these boots are.. They wrap around your feet like a pair of gloves, but they keep your feet locked in place like a cast. They're more of an experience than just a pair of shoes. I also added the Bison leather insoles to kick it up a notch.

O.t. safety toe.
First off these are the nicest boots I've ever bought.
I've got about 40-50 hours on them, with some work to do to get them good and broke in.
Now, I bought these for the arch support knowing it was a moderate arch I thought it would be enough. I kind of wish I would of tried the super duty with a bit more arch support. Guess I'll have to get another pair.
