Resole Assesssment

Answer the following questions to see if your boots qualify for a resole.

Is there a tear or hole in the backstay?

What Is The Backstay

The reinforcing strip of leather covering the back, connecting the quarters for structure, heel support, and durability.

Are there two or more tears in the tongue, OR any tear larger than a golf ball?

Is the midsole cracked, chunked, or splitting?

Is the boot welt area excessively worn down and almost flush with the Vamp?

Where To Check

Take a look at the area where the vamp connects to the sole of the boot.
