I’ve been wearing my smooth prairie bison boots on the job for 5 days now. They’re breaking in very easily. I’m super impressed with the build quality and they’re really nice looking boots. Almost a shame to put them to work. I wouldn’t go as far as to say No Break-in Bison, but it’s definitely been way easier than any other leather boots I’ve broken in.

After the 5 days the uppers are almost 100% formed to my feet and the insoles are beginning to form as well. I’d say in another week they’ll feel like wearing a supportive slipper.

I would also like to say a huge thank you to JK’s customer service. They were absolutely awesome to work with from the pre order questions to receiving my boots.

To conclude I’m 100% satisfied with JK Custom Boots and they’ve earned a customer for life.

I order this custom duty as an Artic 1, I've never had such a warm supportive comfy boot like this, straight out of the box, the fit was perfect and comfortable, very little break in was required, I've worn these boots everyday for 2 months in the rain, snow, and mud, never once were my feet cold or wet, I oiled them, let in dry overnight then put 2 coats of Obenaufs LP on them, never a leak! Great boots thank you JK!

I purchased these boots in the summer of last year. I typically wore through a set of Thorogood Moc Toe Boots every 3 months at $274 plus tax a pair. I have been wearing these boots for 7 months and anticipate I have another two to 3 months before I send them in for rebuild. I bought a second pair for then these go in. Took about a week and a half for them to break in, and now I wear them 16 hours a day 6 days a week while I run and operate my excavation and fencing company. I grease them once a month with Huberds Boot Grease.

I bought my first pair (arctic no1) from the Spokane shop while working a winter storm repairing power lines. I had a pleasant and informative experience finding the right fit. Oiled them up and put them straight to work. I was absolutely amazed at the comfort. I fell in love with them enough to now own two other pairs (fire inlander&super duty) and I’m currently waiting on a custom pair of super duty’s to be built. I have tried MANY different boots, other PNW brands included, and it took me several years to give into the hype but I am glad I did. I will never wear another brand of boot. Hats off to JK BOOTS!

These are my second pair of JK boots ( 1st pair being Bison O.T. ) and I cannot tell you how much I adore these boots. The leather is somehow so supple and soft yet super thick and durable as all get out. I cannot wait to order another pair for just going out looking nice. These here are going to be my workhorse. Day in and day out. The break-in period is actually almost nonexistent. I wore them for one full day and they were already comfortable enough to wear all day with no issues. No hotspots for me. These are hands down more comfortable than all the other PNW boot brands I've tried. You have a customer for life.
