    Great boots

I really like my Honey Fire boots. I have always had wide feet, and struggled to find footwear that works. It's great to find boots that are built tough, and in wide sizes. The arch support is great.

I injured a hip 15 years ago, and for the last couple years it had really been bugging me. Since getting my boots 3 months ago, it doesn't bother me as much, and I sleep better at night.

In fact, I like them so much, I got a second pair to wear for nice. (Fire Inlander)

    Custom boots

Just as I anticipated with my custom boot order the lack of a wilted sheath or extra layer has nearly immediately caused the destruction of my boots literally first attempt to a knife in the sheath resulted in it nicking the inside (outside of the upper). I think what's most upsetting is that I paid nearly $1,000 for these boots from a"custom"boot maker that said it was too far out of there operational capacity to be able to make sure that there is an extra layer of leather in between the blade and the uppers of the boot this literally just cost me $1,000 set of boots.l

    1 Month Update.

I have had my Fire Inlanders soft toes for roughly a month, and I cannot complain. I went from Merrel hiking boots at work to this tank of a boot. The insides of the boot are starting to mold perfectly to my arches. Repel water is pretty good, and it is highly stable. I had to replace them because they bite exceptionally hard on the ankles. A brass fitting just happens to lay right over my ankle. Easy to clean and maintain. Laces are holding up so far. I can tell that the soles are holding up and will continue for years. I have another order on the way, so I can use those as I send these in for repair in about five years.

Just arrive and they’re built really well.

These arrived, and I have to say I was skeptical. They looked huge, like they wouldn’t fit. I put them on without laces or the false tongue, and I still didn’t think they fit. I looked at the paper's instructions on fit and feel. I checked off the blocks individually, and they felt exactly as described in the instructions, but I was still skeptical. So I laced them up, and low and behold, these boots fit like a glove. Tap your heel on the ground to get snug, then lace up like you're trying to hold down King Kong.

Be careful when hitting your heel on the ground. It will leave marks on vinyl floors, but they rub off.

I work for a water District in South Florida, and I'm outside all day, walking and using equipment. Hydraulic, diesel, gas, chemicals, sun, and the elements are all I'm exposed to all day. Let's see how long they last! I did a lot of research on these boots, and I'm sure they will hold up.
