Why Superduty Owners Keep Purchasing a Second (or Third) Pair
If you've read through our Superduty reviews, you might notice how customers that already own a pair or even sometimes two, ordering another pair. You might be wondering why, and it has nothing to do with the boots falling apart. It usually means the first pair did exactly what it was supposed to do, for long enough that they couldn't replace it with anything else. We put togther ten Superduty reviews from customers on their second, or third to see why they got another one.
One Boot Wasn't Enough
On his third pair of Superduty boots, he's settled into a rotation: break them in, use one pair daily, then when they need a resole, switch to the other pair. "This is my third pair of Super Duty boots... If you oil them heavy right out of the box they will feel great from the first day.

Three pairs in, he's already thinking about what the next one will look like: "Superb craftsmanship, excellent materials, great fit and minimal break in with bison . Very happy already thinking about what my next pair will be thanks JK"

He loved his first pair enough that a second was an easy decision: "I loved my first pair of JK boots so much I bought a second pair. These are by far the most comfortable footwear I own."
He didn't even wait for the first pair to wear out: "So far so good. Best boots I’ve ever worn. So good I ordered a second pair after the first week at work."

From Other JK Models to the Superduty
Owning both O.T.s and Fire Inlanders, he added a Superduty to the rotation after being won over by the higher heel: "Love the boots. Already a proud owner of OTs and Fire Inlanders. Loved the higher heel and inlanders so much I ordered me another pair (these)"

His first purchase was a pair of stock Bison O.T.s. His second was a Custom Superduty: "These Superduty’s, also bison, and are my first custom shoes ever and I really love both pair. They are worth the money in every way. First, I’m on my feet for no less than 10 hours a day with anywhere from 5 to 10 city miles walked per day, mostly on asphalt and concrete. Some days I’m working outdoors in foul weather and muddy conditions. Most of my days are spent in the woodshop standing on concrete floors. Im in decent shape, but aging nonetheless and suffer from a bunion, chronic lower back pain, and sore lower legs along my shins. Since I bought my first pair of JK’s, I came to realize that I don’t hurt aa much anymore, except that bunion, it’s a monster. Due to the firm leather footbed, I get great relief when wearing these and my OT’s. I almost need a third pair as house slippers because I don’t want to take them off when home. Take the time to get your true size then treat yourself to a pair. I doubt you will be disappointed."
When Relief From Pain is a Reason for Another Pair
Eight hours a day on concrete floors would wear down anyone's hips, knees, and back. His third pair of Superdutys is what's kept his intact: "Outstanding Boots! Do I like JK's boots? This is my third pair. All Custom Super Duty, honey vibram, with just one lift in the heels. I wear them every work day, 8 hours a day on extra hard cement floors, and they have saved my hips, knees, and back. They are the most comfortable boots I own, and I own ***** and White's. The JK just fit better, and once broken in are more comfortable..."

A year into his first pair, he calls out the arch support specifically as the reason he wants a second pair: "The bison leather is extremely durable and comfortable, with minimal break-in. They were comfortable right out of the box, and in a day or two, they felt perfect. JK Boots have phenomenal arch support, and that is the reason I'm buying a second pair of boots for everyday use."
The Service Behind the Orders
"My boots showed up way ahead of schedule ready to work. Fit and finish were both excellent and spot on. The boots were comfortable right out of the box. Customer service was excellent to deal with back and forth while we dialed in my size by phone and email. I will definitely purchase another set of boots from JK in the future."

Minimal break-in, no blisters, and a boot that molded to his feet within the first week convinced him he'd found his boot brand going forward: "...I know for a fact I’ll be shopping with jk from now on. By far the nicest boot I’ve ever owned and definitely justifies the price point."
None of these customers were chasing a deal or replacing a boot that wore out early. They liked the fit, the support, or the way JK handled a sizing question and that made purchasing a second pair feel like a no brainer.
