After just a few days of just letting the leather do it's thing, it honestly feels like I'm running around in a pair of house shoes. In addition the vibram mini lugs really do help with controling mud build-up when out in the field or in pastures checking fence or feeding cattle. If you do get any build-up just find you a dry spot walk a few steps and most of it just falls off. Break in was different than I was used to with my typical Red Wing jam, it was painful, and painful in different places.
