I am a bit of a boot junkie, I rotated 3 pairs of Thorogood boots for work along with multiple different cowboy boots, none of them a cheap boot! I believe if you’re going to spend 12-14 hours a day on your feet you should spend the money on good boots. That being said, I work in excavation, and after a days work my feet would always be sore. That’s why I decided to pull the trigger on JK boots after numerous reviews stating their comfort.
After Two weeks of 12-14 hours a day of hard labor on these Bison Superduty boots i will be a life long customer! My feet actually feel rejuvenated, no more sore feet at the end of the day! There was literally no break in, as the bison leather is soft and malleable, but super strong, the ankle support is very sturdy, and the arch support is awesome! I’ve had no experience of hot spots, or any bit of discomfort. The weight of the boots is comparable to the thorogood boots I already had, and they’ve been water tight so far!
If you’ve been looking into these boots and the price is what’s hanging you up, just spend the money! They are worth it, your feet deserve it! The quality is great, the craftsmanship is excellent, they are made here in America, by Americans! What more could you ask for?

"Really enjoy the boots. They were comfortable right out of the box. I attribute that to the bison leather. I didn't really need to break them in at all. I did give them a coat of boot oil after the first week, but none since then. The leather flexes and moves with my ankles well. I don't experience any hot spots unless I stand in one place for a while. I work on concrete floors, so take that into consideration. I think I prefer the wedge sole on these boots over a heeled sole. The wedge seems more comfortable. Overall, I'm happy with the boots and I would recommend them."

"Just got my first pair of JK's and I'm pretty happy so far! I followed sizing instructions and measured wearing wool socks, and it was spot on. My Brannock size was a 12.5 and I measured 11" around the foot and a 11.5 EEE was right on. If anything, I could go up one step in width if I were only wearing them with heavy wool socks, but as it stands, these should break in nicely.
Im blown away by the color on these boots. At first glance they may seem brown, but the crimson hues are beautiful, and the texture of the bison is great. They feel nice and stable under foot.
I wore them for a few hours around the house before deciding to keep them, My first outing was about a two mile hike out into the woods here in New England. They did not disappoint. So far I'm very happy with these boots."

"I love these boots. I purchased them because I usually love any collaboration Rose Anvil does with PNW boots, and I was in the market for a new hiking/casual boot. With the honey Vibram soles and soft bison uppers, I decided to pull the trigger. "I have been wearing my Bison Superduty boots for about a month now. These are without a doubt the best boots that I have ever owned. The build quality and materials are second to none. I work on vehicles daily, and work around my ranch out in the high desert of California, while not the PNW, we do have a harsh dry climate that wears things out quickly. These boots have excelled for outdoor work and being out on the trail.
They are not as comfortable when being used on hard concrete surfaces, but still work well around the shop.
As far as sizing goes, the JK sizing guide worked perfect for me. I am a 10.5EE in a ****** Perry, 11EE in Red Wing Moc Toe, & tennis shoes. JK sizing has me in a 10EEE, and this fits perfect."
