After being sized in-store but ordering online, his broken-in boots felt slightly loose, here's his experience: "Let me start off by saying these are the most comfortable boots I’ve ever owned. I’ve had Thorogood, Red Wing, Danner, and others, but these stand above the rest. I was hesitant to spend the money because we all know they aren’t cheap, but in this case, you truly get what you pay for. Before purchasing, I went to my local JK Boots store to get properly fitted. They didn’t have the exact pair I wanted in stock, so I ordered my size online. Once the boots were broken in, they felt slightly loose, so I reached out to JK Boots customer service for guidance since I had been sized in-store. They recommended trying the Bison insoles, so I ordered a pair total game changer. The boots fit like a glove now. I’ll definitely be purchasing a second pair of soft toes once I save up the funds. Not only are these boots incredibly comfortable, but they’re also built tough and fully rebuildable. Thanks again, JK"
"I reached out to JK to get a pair of custom boots...my feet are very wide. I was sent a try on pair to confirm sizing. I liked the try-on pair so much, I bought them, and kept my order for the custom boots as well! I have been wearing the try-on boots for 1 week now. Break in was very, very mild and the boots were always comfortable during break in. They are now starting to feel better and better as I wear them more and more. My days are 10 - 12 hours long minimum and they are still comfortable when I take them off for the day. And in taking them off (and putting them on) the quality is very apparent. PS: Can't wait to get my custom Forefronts in Bison!!"
"I have plantar fasciitis and the first 2 day it help me so much I’m not on my feet all day I’m a truck driver, but when I’m on my feet I’m chaining down and loading equipment and it help so much. I order the wrong boots and vald from customer service help me out so much !!"
Nervous about translating his foot measurement into the right size but got it spot on: "I love these boots the quality is amazing and they were comfortable right out of the box. The sizing process was good which I was nervous about but they fit great. My foot measured 9 E and I ordered a 8 EE and I thought I should have ordered a size wider but they were perfect. The customer service was great when I called them and I will order my boots from JK from now on."
Also nervous about the sizing since he was ordering from across the country, here's his experience: "I was so nervous about the sizing since I live on the other side of the US and can’t try them on. BUT FOLLOW THEIR SIZING GUIDE. They fit amazing right out of the box. If you have questions contact them, but their sizing guide helped me greatly. Again, these are pricey boots and well worth it so if you have questions and concerns, contact them. Their customer service was amazing."
"The boots are amazing the break in was a little rougher than expected but that's just what true heavy leather is. Customer service is top notch to get an actual personal phone call on fitment was awesome. I would definitely like to get a pair of another model for climbing with spurs without so much of a heel.
