JK Boots Superduty Review: Built for the Toughest Jobs Out There
What the reviews say
“Very good! “
★★★★★"I am very satisfied and impressed by the quality of manufacturing, according to the Branock scale I take 8.5 so with JK's recommendations I ordered 7.5 and the size is just perfect, the ideal is to measure your foot with the type of socks you plan to wear with your boots and given that there is no lining inside the best is to have good merino socks of hiking type which are long enough to exceed the top of the boot.
I took the Super Duty boots, they are really comfortable and gradually take the shape of my feet, the break-in period is not over I have only had them for three weeks and I don't wear them every day but until 'Now everything is fine I can easily work for several hours. When I started looking for PNW boots I was first thinking of ****** boots but while exploring other manufacturers such as ***** boots and JK boots I was particularly attracted by JK, I watched several videos of them, the importance they place on small details, their history, their vision… I found that all of that suited me well. This represents a good amount of money for me given that I am in Canada, the exchange rate plus customs taxes makes a good amount... but I would buy another pair without hesitation because it is far superior to boots made in an industrial way. In addition, I am very happy to support JK boots and their family, thank you.

“Changed my life!“
★★★★★"Approximately 6 months ago I purchased a pair of jk superdutys, this was my first PNW style boot, I have always worn slip on cowboys style work boots. I have 14 plus years of work boot experience and I have never had a pair that actually improved quality of life. But before I get too far let me say that I am a 330lb man that goes through boots in 6 months. I have right ankle issues (fractured ankle bone and torn ligament) that leads to my right ankle being unstable and rolling all the time this can be painful and also always blows out the right side of my right boots. I have plenty of old pairs that wore out all the same, all different brands too. Anyhow I have had my jk boots for 6 months I spend 50 to 70 hrs a week in them sometimes 80 and I have never blown them out yet, they aren't even close. I have next to zero ankle pain at the end of a day and next to zero back pain as well. I'm not sure how they do it but they really do do it!!!
The longest i have had them on is 28 hrs straight and I forgot they were on! I actually laughed when I noticed they were still on because I have never experienced a boot that is almost part of my foot! These boots changed my life completely and I thank Jesus for them often! I did make a much more detailed review on my YouTube channel Jacob Smith. It's called JK Boot Reveiw (6 month) "
“Great for Tree Climbing, Perfect for Work. “
★★★★★"Hey all, I bought these when I first started working as an arborist tree climber and have worn them everyday for about six months now. I could not be happier with these boots, they work great in spikes, grip to the trees perfect, and are outstanding on the ground. Have taken these on 8+ mile hikes, worked 70 hour weeks, rain or shine, and they still hold their own. You can see I've scuffed the leather up pretty good and nicked the shafts a couple times with my chainsaw , nonetheless they are indestructible when properly taken care of. Never once have my feet hurt at the end of a day, can't wait to wear them for a lifetime. These are the real deal , and truly are special.
Will never buy another work boot again, so happy with them I bought a second pair for when I need these resoled. The investment speaks for itself. Thanks to everybody at JK!"
“Outstanding customer service “
★★★★★"My name is Brandon Wilkes. I a production Timber faller own a Timber Falling outfit in Grass Valley, California. I have been in the logging industry for 11 years. I sent off a pair of ***** hotshot lace to toe boots from your Redding California store front for a full rebuild a few months ago. I appreciated your service so much that I went back an few weeks ago and bought a pair of your fire Inlander boots, and also sent off another pair of old ***** hot shot boots to get corked and fully rebuilt. The customer service from the man at the Redding outfit was top notch. My new JK fire boots are the most comfortable leather boots I have ever worn. I have had all the other top brands and no then feels this good out of the box. Thank you for the great service and keep up the great work"
“Great pair off boots“
★★★★★"I ordered the shoes to Europe, for us the price is about $930 with import tax and shipping. I was unlucky with the size, only the third pair fit me well. Financial disaster.
The boots are massive in every way, but especially in the heel area - much wider in the heel area than my military or other work boots. You need wide jeans to hide them. It is almost impossible to run in those.
I don't think it's hard to break them in. Quite the contrary – they are comfortable from the start, easy to live with and ready to use right out of the box.
I use them for everyday wear and for work, in the office and in the forest. They are incredibly comfortable.
The shoes are solidly made and look like they will last a very long time. I am happy with my purchase and will buy more from JK."
“Tree climber“
★★★★★"I received the boots and wore them the next day climbing trees all day… the first 4-5 days were pretty rough but the pain was only in one spot on the outside edge of both feet… after that they started to break and now after 2 weeks they have molded to my feet and feel amazing, they are very comfortable -BTW, I oiled them right out of the box and every night after work, and I even oiled the inside of the boots which I think helped break them in even faster. I have worn wesco’s for about 20 years and have had I believe 5 pairs and jk’s are every bit as good- I wish I would have bought the grey rough out super duty’s for my son before the grey leather ran out… that will be my next purchase, thx jk"
“Superduty“
★★★★★"I have white smoke jumpers and I have a pair of whites packers they are Beautifully made and I love them but my super duty boots from JK Are Just the best work boot I've ever had the leather is thicker than others the heel counterThere's just not enough I could say about these boots I will definitely Be buying more in the future And their customer service is 2nd to none I needed a pair of boots I called JK told them my situation they had me a pair of super duties in 2 days Sitting on my front porch in South Carolina"
“Good“
★★★★★"They are very good boots. I got a D when I needed an E, but I knew that going in. At first, I had to wear thin socks but now I can wear normal boot socks they have stretched out enough. I just wish it would stop raining it keeps shrinking them back down. Comparable to ***** builder pros. The laces that came with the boots broke after a month; they gave me a set for free that was nice."
“PNW Boots“
★★★★★"I’m in the tree industry in Oregon and these boots are the real deal. I decided to invest in a nice pair of boots after my fourth or fifth pair of 200 dollar keens. And these boots are treating me right. Minimal break in (less than a week) and they fit like a glove. Do yourself a favor instead of using boots for a couple months then tossing them out and get yourself a pair of these."
“Top quality boots“
★★★★★"I have worn many hand built boots in the past, but none of the other brands have been as comfortable out of the box as the JK Superduty. After the short break in period, the comfort and quality is 2nd to none. I work two jobs and have worn these boots 12+ hours a day on multiple occasions with zero complaints. JK has my business for life. "
