★★★★★"Overall, the boots are fantastic! The bison leather is super soft and luxurious feeling and required zero break in. Just lace them up and enjoy. In determining sizing, I put in a call and spoke with Vlad, who was very helpful and pleasant to deal with.
The boots fit perfectly and are beautifully made. As for comfort, they are as good as I could ask for. Comfortable for all day wear, whether working or playing and nice enough to wear as a casual dress boot.
My only minor complaint is that they are not available with a semi-pointed toe, for more of a western appearance and functionality in the saddle. I would say my true rating is 4.75 stars, because of this.
I own two pairs of packers, that I absolutely love, from another PNW maker, and these are every bit as well loved.
This is my first pair of JK boots, but will not be my last. "
“Custom fire inlander from warehouse “
★★★★★"I bought these boots from the warehouse and used the sizing guide, which was dead on. These are my first JKs. I am in between EE and EEE, I went with the EE and they fit great. These boots came custom with a knife sheath. It's the biggest sheath that is offered, 2x5". I would not recommend getting that size sheath on a boot this size, the boot measures 9.25" from the sole to the top of the boot. It has been an extremely uncomfortable break in on the right boot with the sheath, the left one has been amazing. The bottom of the sheath is either too wide or too close to the ankle or a combination of those. It has gotten better with daily wear over 2 weeks but still a nuisance. I'm giving 5 stars as I'm sure eventually the right boot will break in and overall I'm very satisfied with the material and construction of the boots."

★★★★★"I was recommended to JK by a smoke jumper on a fire by Boise, ID in August of 2020. My boots showed up in I ordered them in July of 2021, and they showed up at the end of August of 2021. I'm a full-time structure firefighter/ paramedic who provides EMS frequently on wildfires around the Great Basin Region. These are by far the best boots I have ever purchased. I am constantly recommending that my co-workers get a pair. My brother who works in the Mining Industry purchased a pair from JK Boots, and he has been pleased as well. The boots wear fantastic still, and I am looking to add a pair of custom station boots to my collection for winter months as it can be a little cold working a winter scene. I've never regretted the purchase and doubt I ever will."

★★★★★"I've worn these boots now for 6 months. They are fantastic. The leather is extremely thick and tough. Not only does it mold to your foot exactly and become unbelievably comfortable, but it withstands punishment. Prior to this, I've worn Thorogoods, and by the 6 month point, they are wrecked. My JKs still look brand new and they take a beating in a steel mill everyday. And the high arch has fixed my lower back pain. This is an upper echelon boot, both in materials and construction. And JK is great to deal with. I've dealt with other PNW boot makers. JK is the only place that answers your calls every time and the only place I've been able to speak with the boot builder. I cannot recommend highly enough. "

★★★★★"Let’s start with i now own 4 pairs so I can rotate threw them and have a set to ware when another sets out getting re soles or re built they have helped my foot problems out to where my Foot pain is gone now and I can have them for around 14-16 hrs a day I’m on my feet all day doing welding and mechanic work they hold up great the staff is very knowledgeable at what they do I had never had custom boots before I ordered from a different company and they didn’t fit right and had to return them and it was a good amount of time till I could get a new pare so I gave jk a shot with a in-stalk pare and they where great haven’t looked back "

“My first quality boots.“
★★★★★"I'm a retired heavy equipment mechanic. Some of the field mechanices would buy high end boots because they didn't spend much time in the oil and the muck of the shop. I worked both field and shop. Cheap boots lasted a year, and mid quality boots lasted a year and a half. High end boots were out of the question. When I first put these on I though Holy S@#$ these are like putting on ski boots, I can't move my ankles. It's been a month now and I've worn them 50% of the time. I had a wedge put in on the outer right heal, (nerve deficet and atraphey on my right side) now I wish I could do that on all my shoes."

I went with the recommended size from the fit calculator thing and to my surprise they fit. they are very snug in the width but I prefer that for the simple fact that boots stretch after breakin. this is my first pair of pnw boots and it will not be my last . If these breakin nicely I will be picking up a pair of 300s for my after work where. or who knows I might even go with the custom 2.0. good job jk. I'm impressed so far. "
“Won’t ever buy another brand again “
★★★★★"I have what my family lovingly refers to as “flintstone feet” because they are short, wide, and completely flat. Whenever I walk on cement with wet bare feet you can see the entire impression of my arch-less foot. These boots (and my other three JK pairs) are the most comfortable pair of boots or shoes I have ever worn. They give my feet so much support and had greatly reduced both knee and lower back pain. My only regret is that I don’t have more money to buy more boots. Luckily my OTs have helped me work enough OT to afford this pair. "

★★★★★"I love the new boots. I’ve had two pair of ******, & 4 pair of *****…but I think these will be my all time favorite. You’ve all heard it before, but the Bison leather is super soft 🔥 My only hope is that the sole holds up. I wish there was a harder rubber compound on the very bottom.
This is my first time ordering a Pacific Northwest boot, that was not purposely built for wildland fire. I really like them though!
