Zach T. · ★★★★★ · 300 - Brown

An ironworker who switched to JK Boots from another brand.

"I went with these boots as the style and quality of the boots I’ve wore for 15 years had gone down. They were a name brand wedge sole style boot. I’ve wore my 300s now for a couple weeks and will look into getting another pair to rotate in about a 3 months."

Their first pair of JK Boots and has been happy with them from the first day.

"Worth the wait!!! These are the first pair of JK boots that I have bought and they have been great. Only pair of met guard boots that I have put on the first day and been happy. The support in the footbed is great and my feet don’t hurt like they have with any other met guard boot I’ve owned. Worth the money 100% to be able to say that. Can’t wait to continue wearing them and then becoming even more comfortable."

Works in a steel foundry and says his coworkers love the bison.

"I work in a steel foundry. Safety toe with metatarsal guards are MANDATORY!!!! I was shopping around for the best pair of work boots I could find. Of course I always ended back at JK website. I’ve owned numerous JK boots and love them all. Since they made the IRONHIDE boots with met guards it was a no-brainer. All my co workers love the bison and the strength of them rock."

Working with steel all day requires tough boots that are also comfortable and protective. One of these workers described his as solidly built, another said the durability is what he needs on the job. A welder has four pairs in rotation and another plans to wear his for a long time. This is the idea behind making overbuilt work boots. Boots that are hand built with thick leather and quality materials to take the abuse of a plant, shop, or foundry shift after shift. If your work is hard on boots, check out our work boots to find your next pair.
