I am not disappointed. The boots were spot on. I used a bit of the supplied oil on the boots which accelerated the break in period. Took exactly 96 hours to “break” in. I am an office worker but I need to work in the warehouse occasionally. I must confess. These boots are the most comfortable boots yet. Until now I highly rated Scarpa and Grenson Triple Welt. But the O.T is at a new level. I will be using the boots on the motorcycle see how it goes. I shall report back in few months.

I wish I had known about JK Boots a long time ago. I've been surviving on mass produced, inferior boots for far too long. I discovered custom work boots a couple of years ago, and I have several pairs now. Two from the west coast and one from the east coast. I won't name drop. I enjoy all my customs. They took 8 days to break in. I only wore them about 4-5 times across that first 8 days. I oiled them twice (more like 1 and a half) once across the entire boot and then across some areas I wanted to have more flexibility. They popped onto my feet day 8. I was shocked. They feel very comfortable. I wear them to the office and stomp around so people look at my Limited Edition Coyote OT JK Boots. Yes...I'm that guy... ★★★★★"these boots are amazing. the redwood color is unique and stands out. i used the obermans’s oil that comes with them and it darkened them substantially, which i truly regret doing. i bought 1/2 side down from my Brannock size and went from my regular D to and E and then seem too tight. i’m hoping lots of wear will stretch them out. i probably would have returned them for a larger pair, but i got blood on them the very first time i tried them on. i didn’t know my thumb was bleeding and went to feel for my toes and got blood all over the toe. so i own them now. so i hope they stretch. after the oil they are mostly brown and not really red. so if you like the red don’t oil them."

I went to the Phoenix, AZ store and was fitted there, which is good because I would have ordered a half size larger then I got and they would have been to big. I had a great experience at the Phoenix store, I had my foot sized, tried on a couple pairs of boots, and got he O.T.s ordered in under 20 minutes.
I wish I had known about JK Boots a long time ago, it would have saved me a lot of money on boots and I would have been a lot more comfortable."

I would attribute that to the staff at JK working diligently on getting them shipped as well. I'm only on week three of breaking them in, but I can say they are breaking in nicely. I have put several miles on them daily this early into the game if that helps explain how quick they will start to break in. An interesting fact is that no more than an hour ago I gave my cousin a call to tell him about the boots and sent him a link to get a pair. I'm a believer now!"

★★★★★"I bought these 6 months ago after deciding JK looked like the most real work boot manufacturer out of the usual suspects. They had a limited amount of models and the least amount of hipster office worker marketing. I am happy I did, they broke in fast and are wearing good. I work in auto body and tend to beat my boots up pretty bad with dust and chemicals. These still clean up well and look decent. I will need new souls after a year, but that is to be expected. If you want work boots for doing work these are the boots for you."

I got another pair of JK that I took to Europe on a family vacation and they required very little to almost no break in. I had a few beers in me when I got an email with the OT in coyote. My thumb slipped on the buy now button and boom, they showed up. It escalated quickly. They feel and look freaking great. I should not drink and buy. But happy it happened."

I used the printable bannock and I feel like they are a perfect fit both in length and width. Trust the bannock and recommended size chart. Breaking them in now but even after 2 days of wear they feel 20% better. Should be a fairly quick break in. Some pictures of un-oiled and oiled included. I preferred the oiled color. Looks more professional to me. Delivered a week or 2 early too."
