JK Boots O.T. Pro Review: The Next Level Up in the O.T. Line

"Thanks so much for reaching out! I did just get my boots and tried them on.
I’ve had a lot of pairs of boots over the years from a lot of the big names and was looking for a pair that’s super durable but light enough to not give me back pain on the big hiking days. Im a wilderness trail crew lead for the Forest Service and 15 mile days doing trail maintenance are common. I think my new JK’s are totally up to the task! I took them on a short hike yesterday and was surprised how after a good oiling they’re already loosening up and forming to my feet. Not even a breaking-in blister like many of my others pairs have given me. They’re pretty easy on the eyes too, haha. And I especially appreciated the boot oil included. That was very handy."

"great boots. got these ot pros for everyday workboots and for hiking. they were very comfortable right out of the box. the main difference between new and broken in some is the leather insoles. you can feel where the thick leather transition is when you first start wearing them. after a while this goes away as the soles breakin. the boots can feel a little hot if you wear thick wool socks. when i switched to thinner wool socks, they are warm but my feet dont start to sweat even after a few hours of hiking. Great boots will get another pair so i have a spare available when i need to get resoles . good job jk boots."

"Ordered the boots after using the sizing guide, but they showed up several months later way too small to squeeze into. I called JK and found that there was a store in Redding, CA, only 3 h from me, so I hucked it down the freeway. There Jared (?) resized my foot and we came to the conclusion that the widest toe-box they have would be necessary. He took the pair that had been sent to me, and then he resubmitted the order with the new parameters. I'm currently breaking them in (the leather is substantial, so it's a bit stiff) after oiling them, and the workmanship is top notch. Once they get a bit more supple I'm going to love wearing these things. The Redding store should really get credit for this sale, as I would have simply sent the originals back for a refund if he hadn't helped me out. My only niggling complaint is that the hooks for the laces are a bit small, especially for the leather laces they send with the boots, and it makes getting these laced a bit more of a struggle. Otherwise, nothing about these are poorly made."

"Placed my order and received them in 3-weeks. Little break-in is correct. Wore them to work ,nine hrs on cement floors , the next day and every day since. Heavy boots at over 3-pounds each, I don’t even notice it when I have them on. They are like leather armor for my feet. The red X soles are hard,but they are chemical resistant. So if that wasn’t necessary I would get the honey soles. Well worth the money, wish I had bought them years ago. I wasted a lot of money on Thorogoods and the likes. "

"I've had red wings for almost 2 years and recently got some wolverine and man the bruising and break in process was troubling. I been doing a lot of research on YouTube and kept seeing the talk about JK's and decided to pull the trigger on this big purchase. The first two days were rough because of how sturdy and tough the boots were constructed. By day 3 it went away and they just get more comfortable by the day. I'm already saving up to get me some superduty in the future."

"They are amazing and very comfortable. I’m still breaking them in and they’re already as comfortable or more so than my other boots. The leather quality is very good, so is the craftsmanship and attention to detail. But I am a retired person so I can’t really talk on how good they are because I don’t have to push them. The sizing chart JK has is perfect, my boots fit like a glove. I do not have buyers remorse at all and I’ve never spent this much on boots ever. "
