“THE DOUBLE DOWN!“
★★★★★"I have yet to fully break these boots in. It's winter and I've just been wearing them around the house. I have a freakishly high arch and historically have had a horrible time with boots in similar categories just destroying the top of my foot during break in times and even just not being able to get my foot in the boot to break in. I climb trees for a living and usually go through a pair of Kenetreks or Crispi boots in about 6 months. Sooo in search for a more durable boot I hit the web and started my search. I come across JK Boots online and I have never heard of them before. Whites yeah, but been there and killed me and I'm not going back. They seemed like a good quality boot from the looks of their web page and Youtube reviews, so I pulled the trigger and got the Honey Fires. At this point I was so excited from all the positive reviews online that I have seen I was hasty about my purchase and didn't realize that JK Boots sizes are a little different from your standard boot. I ordered the wrong size. I called JK Boots up and someone answered the phone immediately to help with my problem and talked me through the process of getting the correct boot. I was so impressed by the JK Boot customer service that I doubled down with out ever even receiving the first pair of try ons they send out. Now that I have received my honey land fires I'm sold! As long as JK Boots is in business they will be making my boots. I have didn't get these custom made and to my surprise by the third day of super light wear around the house and a healthy coat of boot oil these boots already molded to my feet! Three days around the house is by far the fastest break in time I've had! Usually, it's the first half season just being miserable and then they get nice and comfy right before the sweat soaks through the leather and they blow out. I'm definitely happy with my choice to invest in JK Boots and I can't wait until my custom Bison Climbers arrive!! Keep up the great work JK!"

★★★★★"I really like my Honey Fire boots. I have always had wide feet, and struggled to find footwear that works. It's great to find boots that are built tough, and in wide sizes. The arch support is great.
I injured a hip 15 years ago, and for the last couple years it had really been bugging me. Since getting my boots 3 months ago, it doesn't bother me as much, and I sleep better at night.

I placed an order with another PNW boot maker in Dec 22. Radio silent still haven’t received. Cactus doesn't penetrate the leather like some boots and the soles are flexible enough for grip, but stiff enough to prevent sore feet. Friends and family look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them I prefer them to my tennis shoes, but it's the truth. I like them enough I ordered a second pair! "

★★★★★"This is my second pair of Jk Boots, the attention to detail and quality of the craftsmanship is second to none. Break-in took about a week and then it felt like having running shoes on. Only thing I had to do was order longer laces due to having large calves. If you have one foot smaller than the other like me the supplied insole helped immensely.
