It makes a difference.
The quality is unmatched in more ways than one. I had a pair of Whites blow out the stitching within a month. Meanwhile, my first pair of JKs, the Arctics, have taken years of hard use and are just now getting their first resole. I’m not easy on boots either. The Bear Slayers feel just as tough. Right out of the box, the pebbled shrunken bison is flexible and comfortable. The relief cuts are a great touch and at a full squat there’s almost no bite. The Vibram soles grip everything. And the blood core might be my favorite detail. A few scuffs revealing that bright red underneath looks incredible.
These boots look just as good on the job site as they do out to dinner with my wife. I couldn’t be happier and I’m proud to be a JK customer for life."
