Custom Boots Terms and Conditions

We want to make purchasing the best boots in the world as simple and pain free as possible, providing our customers with total confidence in their experience and our product.

  • Here at JK we will return or exchange your boots for you, as long as they meet our Exchange and Return Criteria.
  • We offer one exchange per order, and boots must be in brand new condition
  • Once you purchase your custom pair of boots, you cannot make any changes to the order

Every single pair of JK Boots are made by humans! This means that you can expect slight cosmetic imperfections consistent with a handmade process.

These include, but are not limited to, slight variances in: 

• Eyelet Spacing
• Hook Spacing
• Boot Shaft Height (L vs R)
• Toe-box shape
• Hard Toe Shape
• Sewing Lines
• Sewing "back-stitches"
• Edge Trimming 
• Outsole Placement
• Outsole Stitching
• Cosmetic appearance (leather texture, color, leather veins, minor scuffs)

We do not warranty boots damaged by fire, natural elements, chemicals or wear. Assessment of the repair will be made by inspection and the responsible party determined. JK will repair any boot, that by inspection, is a result of material or workmanship flaws within 12 months from the date of delivery.

Cancelations

Due to the nature of custom boots, all order cancelations are subject to a $150 build fee, because we have already begun to organize the order, cut the material, and build the boots. 

Exchanges/Returns for Online Custom Orders

Purchase with total confidence knowing that you can exchange or return your boots for a different size or model hassle free if they’re not to your liking or don’t fit quite right.

Criteria and Process

  • Boots must be in new and unworn condition
  • Boots must not have custom uppers
  • Boots must not be mismatch sized
  • Boots will processed as a return, with the price minus shipping and the $150 build fee refunded. 
  • An exchange order will be drafted and invoiced

What Is NOT Eligible To Be Returned?

We cannot accept returns or exchanges on the following items;

  • Returns submitted outside 30 days of the original order delivery date
  • Returns received in damaged/worn condition
  • Factory Seconds boots
  • Original shipping charges & fees
  • Final Sale or Close Out items cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged
  • Mismate size boots
  • Boots with custom uppers

    I bought these for my son. Its his first year with the National Forest Service, and was needing them. He says "they are the best things I've put on my feet for the type of work I do"! Sooo money well spent!!

    Good boots I’d say.

    So far I’ve work them for 3 weeks. They are getting quite comfy, look good, and keep my feet warm.

    The strings on the bottom on the soles a few have broken already though, hence the four star rating. Yet I’d say overall good boots.

    High quality bootmaker and high quality boots

    High quality bootmaker/boots. 2nd day wearing them and can already tell you they are going to stand the test of time. I’ve always been a Wesco boot user for years due to requiring a high quality boot for the power line industry, but these JK boots already start very comfortable and the break in won’t be as bad even with thicker leather. The way they are shaped and stitched for a “stock” boot make them form to your feet more comfortably and sooner. As well as the boots are high quality, so is JK’s customer service. I was fixing to purchase another pair of Wescos but never heard back from them for weeks and still currently. JK on the other hand had updated me the second I purchased them from eta, shipping, and I even had a change I wanted to make and they responded the same day! Damn good quality boot company at a fair price as well. Keep up the good work, definitely made 1 more loyal user/customer.

    By Far The Best Boots I've Ever Owned! Worth Every Penny

    Second day wearing them, I could say by far pretty comfortable. Let’s see how long it takes to break them real good.
