Custom Forefront 2.0

I absolutely enjoy these boots! The break-in period was necessary, but to be expected since I’m not used to wearing this style. Once broken in, they’ve been incredibly comfortable and stylish — perfect for my needs. I'm an office warrior and primarily wear these on meeting days when I want to look sharp and feel confident. My only minor complaint is that the white sole is difficult to keep clean, which is important to me since I want to maintain that fresh, polished look. I did order the buffalo leather insoles and nylon shoelaces. I wish JK would offer a boot cleaning care kit on their store. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase.

I wanted a buy it for life boot for working around the house and any other adventure. Decided on the forefront bison and I'm very pleased. Break in was only 2-3 days, after 3 or so weeks they are very comfortable and I look forward to putting them on. They have seen very little work, I've been dailying them instead. My only niggle, which will fade in time due to their work boot responsibilities, is the leather is quite different between them. The left boot is a really nice color with attractive bison texturing, the right boot is at least two shades darker and lacks the texturing in the vamp. They will certainly turn from beautiful unblemished leather to real work boots soon, so I'll care less over time. If they were heritage boots, I would care a bit more.

I love these boots. I came from thorogoods before this. They lasted 4 years and I had them re soled 3 times. I work on my feet for long hours. I'm either on the concrete, on a ladder, or in an attic or crawlspace. The arch support took about a week for me to get used to and they are still breaking in but they feel more comfortable each day I wear them. I hope I get more longevity out of these. The only complaint that I have is that the uppers on the right boot were slightly thinner than the left. I did not notice it until recently so I don't believe they are covered by any warranty. I hope this doesn't affect the rate in which they wear. Only time will tell. So far they are the best boots I've worn so far.
