First pair of boots that I’ve worn that have the honey sole. Love them so far, and as far the boots, decided to break them in on a fire on the Angeles and only took one hike to break in.

As soon as they got here I was meeting the mail lady to sign for my boots as soon. As I hot them I opened them looked them over and just smiled. I quickly put laces on them and slid my feet into them and angels singing and everything was right in the world. I didn't get to keep them on very long cause I had somewhere to go. I thru a temperature and stroked off. When got home I put them on and wore them for about 4 hours. Next day did the same thing man I like those boots. The two tone came out great the size is great. All around I love these boots. Now with good some bad has to follow. It's is not JK'S fault at all.
About ten years ago I broke my ankle had surgery on it and I still have 12 screws and a steel plate. So when I lace them in my left ankle let's just say it is less then comfortable. I made a post seeing if any one had ideas on how to make them more bearable got some ideas from a few folks. But that is not the rest or best part. I get a reply from someone in the JK company that says hey I'll get with my team in the morning back at hq and maybe we can help.
So yesterday I got a call from Bryce from JK. Very nice gentlemen I explained what was going on kinda told him the ideas I had. He says yes we can do that let's see if that works if it doesn't we will try something else out.
Now I realize that JK is not a large boot company like blue feet work boots. But JK has service second to none. They didn't have to reach out but they did. Thanks JK I do whole…

From the moment they arrived, I instantly knew that these were a quality product. I discover JK boots after sending back my ****** to be rebuilt, knowing I had to find a replacement while they were away. I came across JK Boots, and after talking with Ernest about what size I would be, I went to searching their SuperDuty selection of what they had available as I was needing them sooner than later. Found this pair of Bison and I’ll admit it was absolute great purchase! So soft and after a week of wearing them to get them formed to my foot, they have become my favorite pair of boots to wear around the ranch. Extremely comfortable, and work great for doing tractor work and everything in between. Very happy with how they’re wearing and having a high arch they are amazing! Highly recommend anyone to follow their sizing chart, and I’m a 10.5EE. These boots I got are a 9.5 3E and fit great! If you haven’t tried these, I’d suggest you give them a shot. This is almost 6 weeks of wear, between 1st picture and the last 3.

I researched and watched reviews for 3 years before buying these boots due to the price and finally one day I said “***** it they’ve got to be worth a try!”
I am a bit of a boot junkie, I rotated 3 pairs of Thorogood boots for work along with multiple different cowboy boots, none of them a cheap boot! I believe if you’re going to spend 12-14 hours a day on your feet you should spend the money on good boots. That being said, I work in excavation, and after a days work my feet would always be sore. That’s why I decided to pull the trigger on JK boots after numerous reviews stating their comfort.
After Two weeks of 12-14 hours a day of hard labor on these Bison Superduty boots i will be a life long customer! My feet actually feel rejuvenated, no more sore feet at the end of the day! There was literally no break in, as the bison leather is soft and malleable, but super strong, the ankle support is very sturdy, and the arch support is awesome! I’ve had no experience of hot spots, or any bit of discomfort. The weight of the boots is comparable to the thorogood boots I already had, and they’ve been water tight so far!
If you’ve been looking into these boots and the price is what’s hanging you up, just spend the money! They are worth it, your feet deserve it! The quality is great, the craftsmanship is excellent, they are made here in America, by Americans! What more could you ask for?
Thank you to the folks at JK for doing what you do, and making a boot that I really don’t want…

Outstanding Boots!
Do I like JK's boots? This is my third pair. All Custom Super Duty, honey vibram, with just one lift in the heels. I wear them every work day, 8 hours a day on extra hard cement floors, and they have saved my hips, knees, and back. They are the most comfortable boots I own, and I own ***** and White's. The JK just fit better, and once broken in are more comfortable.
The Shadow Bison leather is super! Shadow Bison is supposed to be black. It is in interesting shade of black. At a glance they looks black most of the time, but depending on what color pants you are wearing or the lighting, sometimes it looks really dark brown, and sometimes it can look almost a really dark navy blue. That is even after a heavy initial application of Obenauf's oil. I suspect as they age they may loose that quality and look 'more black'. They are very good looking boots, and the bison leather is much softer than JK's normal leather. The stictching and build quality is on par with the best boots on the market. JK's customer service is and always has been superior. It is rare in today's world that you get more than you expect, and these boots hit that mark in quality, comfort and value. Well done - again - JK!
